Good day everybody…the sun is shining… the birds are singing… the world is turning…and even though there are terrible things going on I always tend to focus on the positive…or else what’s the point of even being here? Right? I hope all of us can find something dear to hold on to and appreciate right now!
Like mothers! Today is May 9th 2021 and it’s Mother’s Day so I’d like to send out tremendous love and blessings to all the Patriotic women who give of themselves every single day! Their service to others may often go unnoticed or unappreciated so I’m sending them extra love on this occasion! If this episode airs after Mother’s Day well they still get the love.
I thing I really wanted to talk about right now is Faith vs. Fear! Which do you choose? Do you live in faith or do you live in fear
and how’s it working for you? There are so many things to be fearful of right now! We are bombarded with scary information on a daily basis. Every hour, minute by minute the main stream media is telling folks they better be prepared for the next disaster.
You can do a quick search and easily find these types of fear tactics. Each year a new deadly annual flu or contagious disease to beware of! Whether it’s killer bees, infected mosquitoes or something else they conjure up to keep you distracted they’re usually proven wrong. We are often presented with biased statistics to keep us confused but we can adopt new habits that will allow us to stay strong in the truth.
I wasn’t taught fear. I was raised without any type of religious training yet always sought out the spiritual things in life. I had a deep love in my heart… it was unexplainable except I knew it was from God. I went to a Christian church on my own as a teenager. I found some wonderful people who actually walked the walk not just talked the talk. They were for the most part kind to all and not the judgmental type who give Christianity a bad name. They had true faith and it was infectious.
I spent many years reading numerous books including the bible to find the answers to my many questions. I had a deep calling to be a good person and always try to do the right thing. This felt like the way to live a good life and be happy! Living in faith and learning to not be overcome by fear can take awhile. Over the years it’s worked for me and I’ve had a great life so far. It seems as though fearful people are not very open and not willing to easily share. Well, what you give out you get back tenfold…and I’ve often thought even the most selfish person may want to think about this!
I’ve never been an anxious, worried person per se…. I constantly felt protected. I had God and angels to protect me if I did become nervous or scared. No one ever told me to do this I simply knew ot was the right thing to do. I started thinking that when I was worried or scared it was an insult to God!
Now this is of course only my opinion however it has always helped to keep me calm and in control of my emotions. Whenever something bad or negative happens I try to remember this. I remind myself of this. If you have an excellent father who always comes through for you, keeps his word and loves you unconditionally, isn’t it easy to believe him if tells you to relax and to trust him. Those words can work wonders to relieve any stress, especially if you really know he’s got your back?
Of course, I think most of us might be quite happy to let go of our fears. Getting assurance and support can give us confidence to be brave that lets us move forward. Faith is the same thing as relying on a father figure. If you have absolute trust in God then why would you worry about anything? Even death may not seem scary if you know you’ll be going to a better place. It’s easy to say you believe when things are going well, but if you fall to pieces with worry when things get difficult…. then in my mind you don’t really believe.
“True love casteth out all fear” has been a great reminder along my own journey. I’m far from perfect and have to remind myself of these things from time to time. As in my previous podcasts I am hoping to pass along helpful ideas that work. They get through and have gotten me through some very trying and traumatic times. It’s like having a lifeboat when you may feel like you’re drowning.
My main purpose in life has been to focus on the positive not the negative. Not always easy right now, but I try to find a balance when speaking to people. The powers currently in control…the deep state or whatever you choose to call it….. want us in constant fear. They never promote self reliance…power of love….healing remedies or anything that would offer some type of happy solution.
There are lots of reasons why they want you in a constant panic. If we truly concentrate on creating our own reality and the powers we inherently possess they wouldn’t have any slaves to do their bidding. With that said we can try to remember we are the ones who control our fate, our daily decisions and whether we want to rely on faith or succumb to all the negativity. As I’ve said before true patriots never ever surrender to tyrants, bullies or insane agendas. We rely on our connection to source and always try to do our very best…no matter what!
Each episode I present some uplifting and powerful quotes to think about! This week’s selections are in alignment with the beliefs we previously discussed!

If I Do Not Go Within…..I Go Without!
Prayer and meditation can give us the tools we need to resolve all problems or conflicts. I wish more people were aware of this and could connect to their higher power. It’s much better to have faith then feel as though you have no control over life. There are so many self help books, audio books and videos available today. They can provide an easy way to learn about these principles.
The great thing is most of these remedies can be found online at no cost. I often tell folks to try and find something that works for them. You can play an audio or video play in the background even while working. The subconscious mind will absorb it all even if you’re not paying attention. So there are really no reasons these days for remaining worried or helpless. There is always a solution if you care to find it. Going within is a great place to start!
2. For those who are constantly worried….
If it can be solved there’s no need to worry and if it cannot be solved worry is of no use!”
Once again we can see how worrying is futile. It can only be useful if it propels us into being proactive. For example if you become anxious about something then you find a good way to resolve it then it can be helpful. If you remain frozen in fear you only make matters worse. A problem can escalate if you simply let it overtake your life without facing it with a positive solution. This is why faith is so important. It reminds us there is always a way to get through any circumstance life puts in our path.
There are a few books and people I listen to whenever I become frightened or don’t remember to find the solution. Many times over the years I’ve had to rely them. They have become like my personal mentors. Their words have saved me from myself and given me the confidence to find a better way to overcome any obstacle.
In the past episodes I’ve referred many podcasters and new sources. These are people I find helpful in receiving truth and accuracy in journalism. This week I’d like to recommend those who have spent a lifetime trying to present wonderful ways to obtain a fulfilling life. Their contributions to humanity have earned them both a great following! I consider them true heroes who have dedicated their lives to helping the masses. I appreciate them so much and would encourage you to perhaps check them out!
He is an American self help spiritual author and motivational speaker. His first book, Your Erroneous Zones, published in 1976, is one of the best selling books of all time. He continued to write numerous books over the years and was constantly in demand for public speaking events. Some of his best know quotes are:
If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
How people treat you is their karma, how you react is yours!
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.
If you want to learn more you can buy his books and audio tapes from several sources. He also offers many free audios on YouTube.
2. Louise L. Hay was an American motivational speaker. She was also known for her work as author, activist and founder of Hay House. She wrote several self help books and is perhaps best known for her book, You Can Heal Your Life!
Some of her most favored quotes are the following:
Every thought we think is creating our future.
We are each responsible for all of our experiences.
The point of power is always in the present moment.
Love is the great miracle cure. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.
She was one of the first major writers to talk about the connection between what we think and how these thoughts can develop life threatening diseases. She provides an extensive list of ailments and the affirmations we can adopt to counter them. I truly believe in the things she had to say and share with us. Dis-ease….is how she defines all detrimental health issues. Everything starts in the mind. She’s another person I highly recommend if you want to change your life for the better.
Both of these authors knew faith conquers all fears. They spent the major part of their lives trying to help others by example. They overcame tremendous obstacles at a young age and were compelled to serve others so they wouldn’t have to suffer the same fate. I consider them both national heroes.
These days we are truly lucky to have access to so many resources regarding self help and spirituality. We can even get this information for free. One of my other favorite books from Dr. Dyer is
Excuses be gone! Wow…what a concept. No excuses for anything…if we can adopt this concept it has the power to conquer all self inflicted limitations.
I can tell you I’ve used this on myself many times…especially when I came up with reasons why I couldn’t do something. It’s been truly inspirational to me and often made me rethink my own excuses. It can be a mind expanding experience. Either you want to challenge yourself to do better….or you don’t. We all have the choice and hopefully we decide to explore some proven methods to try and make our lives more successful.
Faith vs. Fear in most cases is a choice. You get to choose…but how’s it working for you? I tend to go for the ideas I’ve seen work and take good advice when it’s offered. I’ll choose happiness over being miserable every time. If someone tells me there is no hope, I’ll tell them they haven’t exhausted all the possibilities. I will always see the glass as half full and refuse to be told otherwise.
I wasn’t the type of person who woke up all rosy eyed and cheeeful! I didn’t wake up excited proclaiming how wonderful the day was…I had to work on this type of behavior. I know how some days it may feel like life sucks, but ultimately I remember this is just programming. We have the power to remain victims or shake it off and find the good each day. There are hundreds of things to be thankful and grateful for. Learn to appreciate our good health, love of friends and family not to mention the things we take for granted like running water, toilet paper, toothpaste, etc.
I hope and pray others will do the same. Take the time to realize life is what we make it! We can encourage ourselves and encourage others.
Each episode I like to leave you with a short story….hopefully make you laugh or put a smile on your face. As with last week this story is also my pick from Reader’s Digest
So here we go!
A kindergarten teacher was telling her students about different kinds of animals. “Whales are the largest,” she said, “but they cannot swallow people, because their throats are too small.”
“But in the Bible, it says that Jonah was swallowed by a whale, “said a little girl. “You can’t always believe what you read, the teacher replied. “Well when I go to heaven,” said the little girl, “I’ll ask Jonah.” “And what if Jonah didn’t go to heaven?” the teacher asks. The girl replies, “then you can ask him!”
In the first episode I talked about putting up some recipes from time to time. I was asked to make some homemade Chow Mein yesterday and a friend said she’d like to see it posted. I have put this recipe on my newly updated website. I spent the week adding pages for blogs, videos, favorite books, favorite recipes, people to watch and shop now. This is my first cooking contribution with many more to follow.
This recipe is Vegetarian due to not using any meat but Vegan due to using the eggs. Mushrooms can be a good replacement for the eggs. Obviously this recipe can be adapted for Vegans as well as meat eaters by substituting or adding any of the particular ingredients.
I buy as much as organic produce and products as I can. I also try to find noodles made of brown rice and quinoa, but again, you can use whatever you like! A basic recipe you can adapt to your own liking.
4 Tbsp Sesame Seed Oil
Organic Soy Sauce
Spike, Salt & Pepper
1 pkg. Chow Mein Noodles
1 Bunch Bok Choy
½ Head of Cabbage
4 Celery Stalks
1 White Onion
2 Organic Eggs
Put 4 Tbsp Sesame Seed Oil into cast iron pan or whatever cooking vessel you prefer. Chop and the put all veges in the simmering oil at medium heat. Stir and mix for several minutes then add spices.
Continue to let it cook down to a smaller size as vegetables absorb the oil. Cooking time will depend on how hard or soft you like the ingredients. Add about ½ cup of soy sauce or more if you like and mix in. Once mixed make a small hole in the middle of the pan then add the eggs. Let them cook a few minutes then take a fork and mix thoroughly.
You can make the noodles separately as the other items are simmering. I break the noodle in half because it makes them easier to handle. Cook them for about 5 minutes then drain. Rinse in cold water. Gradually add them to the Chow Mein little by little making sure they are combined with everything. It serves about 6 to 8. I put soy sauce on the side for those who like more.
I’m about to sign off for now. Wishing you all a wonderful week filled with tremendous blessings. If you liked the show today I’d appreciate it if you could like, share and/or subscribe. Please leave a comment or suggestion. If you have a show you’d like me to support leave a link for me as a comment or go visit my website!

You deserve the best and the best is yet to come! See you next week! Cheers!
